The free festival is Boston's premier food festival promoting the joys of eating local food. Meet local farmers, enjoy samples from some of the best restaurants in New England, specialty foods, Fishstock and a “Seafood Throwdown”, Meat Cutting Demos and Chef Demos.
The “Do-It-Yourself” (DIY) educational component allows amateur and professionals the opportunity to showcase their skills with festival-goers.
This year's festival will take place in a new location, The Rose Kennedy Greenway on Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 11am - 5pm.
This new expanded location will accommodate the growing event.
The festival provides opportunities for local food-related businesses, initiatives and nonprofits to share their products, services and programs.
Street parking is available but limited.
