Agassiz Baldwin Community’s office and Children’s Programs are closed today, April 16, in observance of Patriot’s Day.
Both father and son were among the 47 Carver firefighters and officers who responded to a report of a structure fire in the area of South Main Street shortly after 3 p.m. Monday. Fifteen firefighters provided mutual aid from Plymouth, Wareham, Middleboro and Plympton.
Cambridge is hosting the 2nd annual Fair & Affordable Housing Open House on Saturday, April 28, 11:00 am–2:00 pm at the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School’s Main Cafeteria, 459 Broadway. Panel discussions focusing on basic tenant rights, resources for conducting a housing search, and financing options for first-time homebuyers will be held during the event. Representatives from City departments and local housing-based organizations will also be available through the event’s duration to answer questions and provide resources related to fair and affordable housing in Cambridge.
