A fledgeling Irish pub in Jamaica Plain has closed down, less than a week after St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. The Gate (3171 Washington St.) closed without warning, per Jamaica Plain News, and the building housing the restaurant and several residential units is now for sale.

A second location of Grass Fed opened near the Forest Hills MBTA station in early 2016 but closed down less than a year later. The restaurant’s founder, Krista Kranyak Chalfin, also operates farm-to-table restaurant Ten Tables (597 Centre St.), which will remain open as usual.
