Getting to Know Your Neighborhood: Coolidge Corner | BU Today | Boston University
Coolidge Corner, one of Brookline's two major commercial hubs (Brookline Village is the other), has been attracting shoppers for more than 150 years. Its many restaurants, Jewish delis, coffee shops, one-of-a-kind boutiques, and historical sites attract visitors from Boston and beyond. The bustling neighborhood is an easy walk from campus and a quick trolley ride up Beacon Street.

Tuscan Kitchen (64 Seaport Blvd.): A giant, stately Italian restaurant with several sister spots in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Wit’s End (1248 Cambridge St., Inman Square, Cambridge): The menu features “dueling” items — two versions of the same dish, such as a bacon and gouda mac and cheese versus a lobster and mushroom one.

Zia Gianna (1739 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, Boston): Sicilian sandwiches, baked goods, espresso, and more.

Emerald Lounge (200 Stuart St., Downtown Boston): This five-year-old Revere Hotel nightclub has closed to make way for a new restaurant slated to open in spring 2018.

Pikaichi (1 Brighton Ave., Allston, Boston): This Allston ramen destination will close on December 17 due to a rent hike but will try to relocate soon.

Our faith is dead, lifeless, unless it be expressed in works of love (see James 2:20; Galatians 5:6). And we cannot say we truly love God, whom we cannot see, if we don't love our neighbor, whom we can (see 1 John 4:20).
