For the second consecutive year, we are proud to support Cradles to Crayons Massachusetts and their #MartinLutherKing Day initiative. Cambridge residents are encouraged to drop off new or gently used clothing, shoes, books, school supplies, toys, baby supplies, hygiene products for infants through children up to age 12 now through Monday, Jan. 15th. A drop-off box will be available in our main lobby at 125 6th Street. Supplies will be given to local children in need all across the greater Boston area. Your assistance in assisting these children living in homeless or low-income situations is greatly appreciated!
The City's Community Development Department (CDD) is hosting an open house Thursday, Jan. 11, from 2:30 - 4 p.m., at Workbar, 40 Prospect St. Cambridge small business owners and entrepreneurs are encouraged to stop by during the Open House drop-in hours to: • Learn about small business resources in Cambridge • Apply for a small business grant • Connect with other business owners • Meet CDD's economic development staff These services are free and open to all.
