Some artists focus on the concept of a journey away from earth, while others emphasize what is left here or what may await us elsewhere. Adams House is the next Harvard residence complex slated for renewal. It includes a building that predates the Revolution, an antique printing press, and a theater crafted from a swimming pool. The renewal will retain such gems, while improving accessibility and providing modern amenities.

Following a presentation of her project, our Visual Arts Resident Ngoc-Tran Vu invites audience stories and contributions, and offers a workshop facilitated by invited speakers sharing their own work in this areas, as well as resources to be shared. All guests are invited to bring an object or memory that connects to their roots. This event is intended to be collaborative so there will be opportunities for guests to participate, share and engage collectively. Food and refreshments will be provided. Event is free and open to all!
