The following items were disussed: Appointees to Community Preservation Committee The Community Preservation Committee oversees how Community Preservation Act funds will be allocated throughout the City of Boston. The Council already appointed four members to the committee this past December.

Longfellow Bridge Closure Rescheduled for March 16 and 17

MassDOT has canceled the Longfellow Bridge closure previously announced for the early morning of Saturday, March 10. The cancellation is due to inclement weather conditions. The closure has been rescheduled for the early mornings of Friday, March 16 and Saturday, March 17, from 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM each morning. They are necessary to place concrete on Span 2 over Storrow Drive westbound.

When 19 Beacon Hill and Back Bay residents associated with Beacon Hill Village traveled to Mazatlan, Mexcio, last month, the group didn’t just have the sun and sand on their minds, they also wanted to stay in shape, and so they invited Cindy Sullivan along to work out.

On Friday, March 2, the 201 Stuart Street Owner, LLC., an affiliate of CIM Group LLC submitted a Letter of Intent to the Boston Planning and Development Agency (BPDA) to redevelop the Motor Mart Garage in the Midtown Cultural District area of Boston.
