    Mayor McGovern announces the launch of Immigrant Defense Fund
    Mayor Marc McGovern announced the creation of the Cambridge Legal Defense Fund for Immigrants in partnership with the Cambridge Community Foundation. Funds collected and administered by the Cambridge Community Foundation will be used to help connect families to legal services, increasing access to legal representation-particularly for immigrants who are at risk of being deported and are not able to afford a lawyer.
