    Area A-1 Sees Slight Uptick in Part One Crime
    Area A-1 has seen a 2-percent increase in violent and property crime in 2017, compared to last year. According to Boston Police, 2,084 incidents of Part One crime were reported between Jan. 1 and Oct. 15 of this year in the area, which includes Beacon Hill, Chinatown Downtown and the North End, as opposed to 2,045 during the same timeframe in 2016.
