The Health Incentives Program is so popular, its future is now in doubt - The Boston Globe

Did you know that in this country, only 2.1 million farmers feed all 327 million of us? Farming is also the second whitest profession (next to being a veterinarian). Check out this short article on the U.S. Farm Bill and learn why these things are important to all of us! https://buff.ly/2Grvm0x

How Does the Farm Bill Affect Everyday Americans?
Congress renews legislation known as the Farm Bill every five years or so to address a range of issues, from farm subsidies to food stamps. This month, we asked Ricardo Salvador, director of our Food and Environment (F&E) Program, to explain how the Farm Bill, which Congress is now drafting, affects everyday Americans and why we should pay attention to this relatively obscure debate currently playing out on Capitol Hill.
