The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded the Boston College Lynch School of Education a three-year, $1.2 million grant to engage low-income high school students in a science and emerging agricultural technology project. Expected to begin this month, the project will involve 30 City of Boston Boston Public Schools students from populations underrepresented in science, according to the principal investigator, Prof. G. Michael Barnett.
