Mark your calendars for the next Dudley Grows meeting. This community has some big wins to share and exciting work to do!
We have the power to make our neighborhood a vibrant, healthy, safe zone for our families and the next generation, and we are building community strength around healthy eating, growing, and living in Dudley. Dudley Grows is a vision that residents came together to design. Our key priorities are: - Building a resident-owned supply chain for great food in the neighborhood, to capture and build wealth here; - Permanently securing vacant land for growing, so any resident who wants to grow their own food can do so; and - Improving the food in schools, so young people are well-nourished with food they enjoy. Your voice and leadership in this work is important! We'll share dinner from 5:30-6 PM and meet from 6-7:30 PM. Questions? Contact Lanise at DSNI: email@example.com.

240 Albany Street in Cambridge is home to a shelter run by partnering groups Caspar, Inc. and Bay Cove Human Services. The shelter has over 100 beds and delivers wrap-around services, including healthcare, to our homeless neighbors, but they need our help! That's why the Cambridge Police Department is challenging Councillors Siddiqui and Mallon to a wool sock drive. *Wool* socks are a valuable resource to the shelter and our goal is to collect 500 pairs. Please help us help our homeless neighbors! Bring a pair (or more!!!) of *NEW WOOL SOCKS* to either the Cambridge POlice Department or Cambridge City Hall any time between February 12th and 21st. Cambridge Police Department 125 6th St Cambridge, MA 02141 Cambridge City Hall 795 Massachusetts Ave Cambridge, MA 02139 If you want additional information about the shelter or want to make additional contribution, you can get more information by visiting http://www.casparinc.org/.
