Ashmont Farmers Market shared Mayor's Office ...

Farmers' Markets are Beloved, but the Government May Cut Their Funding | Civil Eats
America's current farm bill expires at the end of September 2018, leaving less than a year before lawmakers could begin to make cuts to a variety of federal programs affecting food and farming. And, despite America's growing love for farmers' markets, it's looking unlikely that the Farmer Markets Promotion Program (FMPP) will be prioritized in the coming bill.

Ashmont Farmers Market shared Greater Ashmont...

The Ashmont Farmers Market occurs each year on the MBTA Plaza in #PeabodySquare. Our #FarmersMarket is one of the amazing programs of Greater Ashmont Main Street, this crowdfunding campaign to revitalize Peabody Square is another. This the Ashmont Farmers Market brought hundreds of people together each week to shop, meet neighbors, and even get in a workout during the #FitFridays programming by Dorchester YMCA and 4 Corners Yoga + Wellness. This campaign will help make our square even better. Watch the video and consider donating to help make tangible improvements to the public space that connects our neighborhood!
